New Semi Local Beach (Hunters Beach) Bellingham

Well I was invited to go down to a new semi local beach (local to the Bahm riders) down in Bellingham. I've taken the drive down the Chuckanut drive to a beach called Banzai beach by the locals - nice place to ride on North Westerlies with or without a thermal push and it is exactly the same as 72nd ave here in Boundary Bay. - shallow for along ways out knee deep. I've heard its ridable on a strong North Westerly. Apparently if i had continued on for another mile or so i would have come a cross hunters beach which is driven by a thermal push as well as a North Westerly. This little gem in the rough is rumored to be even better then Squamish ....well i have to see it for myself - The locals may have a secret riding spot that might be worth a trip south to ride.
