IKO ITC Session in New Brunswick

IKO ITC TRAINING
September 24 thru 28 2007, Club Wind & Kite will be hosting the IKO instructor Level 1 Course in Shippagan Les Îles. Instructor Steve Davison will be there to give the IKO ITC training to anyone who qualifies. CANDIDATES PREREQUISITES FOR ITC:
- Be an IKO kiteboarder level 3 for at least 6 months and be able to perform a jump, perform a controlled turn and switch riding, ride constantly upwind and ride between other riders.
- Have an IKO assistant instructor certification or a water or aerial sport teaching experience.
- Attest a valid first aid certificate.
- Have a powerboat license or equivalent skill level if no obligatory license in the home country
- Be at least 18 years old.
LODGING
Gîte la Maison Rouge :
65$/ day including taxes. (Single occupation)
Cottages at Pointe Canot :
450$/ 7 days

WHO IS STEVE DAVISON?
English, lives in the UK
Job: CNC Programmer making aerospace components for too long, seen the light and now full time Kitesurf Instructor/Examiner, EFR Instructor
Experience: Competed in windsurfing for 6 years. Started Kitesurfing in 2000. Qualified as Level 1 Instructor in April 2001 and rose to Examiner in June 2006.
Speciality: Big air
Spot: The Ray, at Chalkwell, Essex in the UK. Dead flat speed course for 2 miles
Passions: Lisa, kiting with my mates in waves, Good Curry, Snowboarding, Wakeboarding, Karate, Squash, Windsurfing.
