New Semi Local Beach (Hunters Beach) Bellingham
Well I was invited to go down to a new semi local beach (local to the Bahm riders) down in Bellingham. I've taken the drive down the Chuckanut drive to a beach called Banzai beach by the locals - nice place to ride on North Westerlies with or without a thermal push and it is exactly the same as... more
First Legal Jericho Session...
Well it wasn't exactly a stellar session but it was a good down winder soul session today. When i arrived at the beach hoping for an increase from 18 knots i was greeted with a drop to about 13 knots. Made for a nice long slow down winder to the jericho sailing club. It was great to be back out... more

An update
Sorry, no pictures in the blog this time. The internet have been extremely slow everywhere we've been. I'll edit this post some time later to make it more colourful. I was able to upload the slideshow which has the pictures in reverse chronological order. I think there are two pages. more

Otimo
We are now back in Cumbuco. We came back for the Best Kiteboarding party/auction and the end of the KPWT championship. The Best party was unbelieveable fun. Tons of people, a great band, and cheap kites. I ended up winning, at auction, a 9m Nemisis HP and a prototype board for really cheap. The next day, unfortunately, me and Brianna... more
It's THAT good.
The wind has been fantastic as well. My first night I got out on my 9m for a 45 minute solo-session while the sun set. Yesterday brought stronger winds where I was able to ride my 7m fully-powered for most of the day. Brianna got out as well that day body-dragging but unfortunately that is all she can really do... more
The Jeri Blues
After getting our flat tires repaired we all took another day trip farther north to Tatajuba, the place me and Brianna got the flats. We kited for a few hours in very flat water and close to 30 knot winds. Chris was riding so crazy that he scared a fish out of the water and straight into his leg. He... more
Cumbuco to Taiba to Paracuru to Lagoinha to Flexeiras to...
After picking up my Dad, Mike, from the airport we headed straight to the beach to do some kiting. He must have been very anxious to get in the water. When me and Bri arrived from the airport we took a six hour nap. Mike, Dan, Bri We began my Dad's ten day visit with two days here in Cumbuco... more
Oh, Taiba
Taiba is beautiful. The town, being not nearly as tourist oriented as Cumbuco, is much more 'vende peixe' and 10 year old local with 4' surf board and not so much 'cheap buggy rentals' and 150$R hotel rooms. Cobblestone or brick roads wind through this coastal town which give it a very unique small town feel. Unfortunately, though, you can't... more
