Hey there...new in town, looking to meet like minded folks and get some sessions in before it gets unpleasant. Kind new to the sport, I'm taken several lessons and am just trying to maintain on plane. Anybody out there with any tips on where to go or needs a companion while on there way...lemme know.

Has anyone kiteboarded at Bothwell beach PEI near Soris? From google maps it looks great. What is the shore break like? What is the best time of year for this location? Is there camping near by?

Any Nova Scotians here?

The wife and I are thinking about heading North, probably to Nova Scotia and maybe to PEI. We've never been to NS before so any advice / info would be appreciated. Probably won't head up until September though, how cold is it then? If time allows, we might also head to PEI and if so hope to stay somewhere near Malpeque as we had a great time with you folks a couple years back.

I am heading to Souris in a few weeks. Wondering if a 5/3 wetsuit with booties is sufficient for this time of year? Not sure what the temperature of the water is, but I imagine it would be high 40´s - low/mid 50´s, although that is just a guess. Will I freeze my assoff?

Gear: ABoards Snow+kite board 158cm, kite Ozone Manta 12m2.

First few tips from Tom:
-It's a 2 tricks combo, first make sure you know how to do each one separated, a front loop & and a down loop.
-Like on any kite loops, height is your friend
-Smaller kites loop faster, it can be an advantage
