Wanted: Kiters for user trial of prototype cold water glove

I am an industrial design student at Emily Carr University of Art + Design and am designing a new cold water glove for sports requiring maximum grip and sensitivity in the fingers and palm (i.e. kiteboarding). I am conducting short user trials with a prototype glove and I require some volunteers.

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR
Men (sorry ladies - only one prototype at this point)
19+ (legal stuff..)
Large hand size (If you're a largish medium, or on the edge of extra large that's OK)
Kitesurf in cold water

Hi,

I'm new on this forum and I have a question I hope you guys can help me with.
I only recently decided I want to start kiteboarding and I booked some lessons.

I would like to read some good training material up front.

After some googling I bumped into http://www.howtokiteboardlessons.com

Who has read this book ? It is worth the price ?

Or does anybody has a better suggestion ?

Hey guys,

I just landed from Halifax and I'm looking to continue kiting. I was getting out in the Atlantic up until December so I'm not worried about the cold (assuming I can find a good wetsuit).
I've come to realize that the weather here is far different from the east coast. Do people ride year 'round? if so, could some one let me know where the spots are.
I'd greatly appreciate any info!

According to Windfinder the forcast for powell rivier is GOOOOOOD!!!!

Just so happens I will be in town for that wind.

Anyone know anything about kiteboarding there? Wind Direction needed, good launch spots, difficulty, how cold it is this time of the year.

Mainly, Where do I set up and how thick does my parka need to be?

kite skiing/snow kiting

I would love to get out this season and try kite skiing. saw some gents last year at kicking horse rocking a double black and thought it would be great to rent some gear/get a lesson/find someone with extra gear to take me out for a day to see if I like it. only place giving lessons in BC ive managed to google is in nelson. So....... any ideas/suggestions??
