Basin Head, Souris, Rollo Bay - Canada Day

AHH I should have check skypilot today! A couple buddys and I were out from 9:30 til 3:30 the wind wasnt very strong. I was only able to get up and planning on my 14m and 135 protoy, I really had to work the kite and wasnt able to stay up wind. then we went back out around 6:30 and it was amazing, the wind picked right up, I was nice and powered staying upwind and jumping. some nice airs. it was the best session i had to date for sure. We went to fortune beach , its near fortune wharf about 5 mins from rollo bay! awesome sandy beach for E or SE.

yeh thats where it is. there were some nice waves coming in there too! it was fun. next decent day we'll have to get out. whats your number again steve? I'd like to take a look at your peter lynn bars, see how the safety system is setup correctly. a buddy of mine just bought some peterlynns and his chicken loop was releasing on its own quite a bit. later

Hey Brad,

I don't use a Peter Lynn bar for my kites. I use a 2008 Best Waroo (55cm) bar currently. It works well for depower and safety, can release to any line. What chicken loop? The 60cm or the 50cm bar?

Look at the section called re-setting depower loop and follow the steps, it is very easy!

Hey Steph, I'm not sure if it was the 50cm or 60cm bar, Its the bar that came with lines on it. I took a look at those manuals and i'm not sure if thats how we had it set up or not. kyle is gone to maine skydiving so i won't be able to have a look at it til later this week sometime. I'll get back to you and let you know how everything worked out. thanks
