Powell River Kiteboarding In January

According to Windfinder the forcast for powell rivier is GOOOOOOD!!!!

Just so happens I will be in town for that wind.

Anyone know anything about kiteboarding there? Wind Direction needed, good launch spots, difficulty, how cold it is this time of the year.

Mainly, Where do I set up and how thick does my parka need to be?
